While most of the country is crying the blues, those of us who live in Katy and Houston are very fortunate!
In 2010, Katy was chose as the most dynamic high growth subruban area in the United States. Katy has added 17,641 households since 2000 increasing by almost 9% from 2009 to 2010 more than any other area in the country!
The list of the best cities for jobs in 2011, based on recent growth trends, mid-term growth and long-term growth and momentum identified the Long Star State as dominating all catergories. Whatever they are drinking in Texas, other states may want to try it!
In Forbes 2011 rankings of the fastest-frowing job markets in the country, six Gulf coast cities made the top 50 including Houston!
